| | I am so mad!!! | | I finally reached another payout amount on MyPoints and went in to redeem my points for my usual Walmart gift card. They no longer offer Walmart gift cards. I have cashed out more then 7 times at MyPoints and have ALWAYS gotten Walmart gift cards. It's pretty much the ONLY place that I shop because I used to work there and my husband is a manager there now. I have NO interest in any of the other gift cards that they're offering. This WAS my favorite site to use. Now I don't know what to do. Should I stop using the site or should I just keep earning points until I find something that interests me[em]confused[/em]?[em]angry[/em] I'm so upset because I was looking forward to the gift card to help buy Christmas gifts for my 3 kids. | Birthday parties | | My son was invited to a birthday party today. It is for a kid in his class that he really does not know very well, but he wanted to go anyway. My son asked the boy what he wanted for his birthday and he replied that he wanted a Walmart gift card. How much would you spend on a kid that your child does not really know? | Voice Ads On Main Page Now? | | Okay I have dealt with those annoying WII ads that say I won a free one. But now I am getting it on my main page as well? Are you also getting theses talking ads on your main page when you sing in to myLot? I tab when I work on myLot but now this is annoying. Now there's one that sates I won a WalMart gift card as well. Do you just listen to these annoying ads or mute the sound? Does this type of advertising infuriate you at all? I am planning on writing myLot to complain,whine,whatever you wish to call it. | | Some tips on how to save on gas!! | | I know everyone is feeling the pinch now. Luckily (in some regards)... only my husband is working outside the home. His commute is only about 15 miles round trip... so again... we're lucky! But... it is still costing about $50 every two weeks to fill up his truck - a 98 Ford F150. Not the best truck for gas mileage... but we bought it brand-spanking new and it's our baby.Anyways... in NJ... the average price for gas is $3.40 a gallon. In our town... it ranges from $3.39 to $3.49... in the state it ranges from $3.34 to $3.99. All the prices are just for regular... I won't bother telling you about the others!I said this was tips on how to save, didn't I? Well let's get to it!!There's a website called "New Jersey Gas Prices" that you can find the cheapest in your town or area. The website is http://www.newjerseygasprices.com/index.aspx I'm not sure how many other states have this kind of website... but do a Google search for "*yourstate* cheap gas" and I'm sure you'll find something. NY, PA, CT, FL, CA all have the same websites. Maybe just try typing in*yourstate*gasprices.com and you'll get lucky and find a website!Another tip... know what you need for groceries... | |
| | Walmart Shoppers. | | I don't normally shop at Walmart but I was kinda forced to because I was given a Walmart gift card for 20 dollars for
my birthday.Well I went to use my gift card the other day to use up my gift card to buy some socks.I couldn't believe
the cheap prices.A package of 6 pr. of socks was 5 dollars and something.All I could think of was the poor laborers
who suffer in those sweat shops making these socks without benefits and making hardly any money at all.That bothers

| Gift Card Purchase | | As most know my dad is very lazy. recently he broke a stand lamp by bending it towards the chair to turn it on so he wouldn't have to get up to do this. This caused the p[ole to snap at the base of the lamp. A new one cost him $60 as well. Well my son had given me a Walmart gift card as a christmas gift. I went the other night to buy me a new model car for my hobby enjoyment but they were sold out. So I walked around window shopping basically. Then I found this lamp on clearance. So I figured I'd buy it so dad doesn't break the $60 lamp any time soon. HAHAHA! It has a goosneck reading lamp that uses a 60 watt bulb, more than enough for his reading etc. The top part is a 3 way lamp. So with a 3 way bulb, and a 60 watt bulb plus the lamp it was a grand total of under $15. So he can break this one and I won't be upset over it. So that's all I wished to relate here. Now have you bought anything with your gift cards you recieved if you did get any that is? What did you buy huh? Share?
