    Cooking Olive Garden style
My husband loves Olive Garden soups and there is this one soup that really is good. Well he decided to go online and find the recipie and make the soup. It turned out better than the one they make at Olive Garden.Have you ever made something that a resteraunt usually makes and had it taste WAY better?
What to eat when your low carbing it at the Olive Garden
I just came from the Olive Garden and had a great dinner. I skipped the bread and ate salad and 1 stuffed mushroom as an appetizer. Then for my main course I had the mixed grill. ( That's what it's called). It's steak, chicken and grilled vegetables- squash, and fried potatoes. I only ate about half of the potatoes, and most of the other veggies. eating the potatoes brought my carb count up of course, but only 16 grams. And I knew we were going there tonight, so i made sure I ate things that were very low carb the rest of the day, and I walked my 3 miles as well. My total net carbs were only 21. Now if i ate all the potatoes of course it would have gone up more, and yes i gave up the delicious bread sticks, but you know what? the taste of a bread stick doesn't out weigh the feeling I'm going to have when I step on the scale the next time and see another lb. lost.[em]w00t[/em]
did you know you can just buy the olive garden salad dressing?
for a big bottle its like 4.95 or so (at the restaurant) and that way i can eat it at home and save some money lol
I Tried the new Chicken Milanese at Olive Garden Finally!! Here's What I Think..
Ok everyone I finally tried the new Chicken Milanese at Olive Garden. Well, as a person who thoroughly enjoys Italian food I have to say that it was pretty good. My chicken is better, but this was not too bad. It was a little bland for me but it was not dry and was cooked just right. I think they need to put more garlic in it.Anyways, it comes with this cheese filled tortellini and that has a garlic cream sauce with spinach. I thought that was a little too salty and I really didn't like that part of it very much. If I were to order it again I would try to get some fettucini alfredo on the side instead. So, has anyone else here been able to go and try it for themselves yet? I just wanted everyone to know what I thought of it before you go and order it.Anyways, thanks so much for listening and I welcome all comments on this. Have a great day![em]happy[/em]
Has anyone tried the new Chicken Milanese at Olive Garden?
I was wondering if anyone has tried the new Chicken Milanese at Olive Garden? I have seen it advertised on television and it looks so good! I was just wondering if anyone had tried it so they could critique it for me. I am planning to go out to Olive Garden in about two weeks and don't want to order it if people say it is not that great. Anyways, I would appreciate any input. Thanks so much and have a great day!:)
Do you like to try new restaurants or always go to places you've been to?
do you like to try new food and drinks? or you want to eat in different restaurants to try something new? ever since i was a kid, my mom always takes me to mcdonald's and ever since i always love that place, i got used to the taste of the food. my mom hates trying out new food. we're different i love to try out new food, different cuisines. i don't but i want to know what does it taste like or why is it so popular? do you ever feel that, you're curious what that food might taste like and you really want to try it? your telling yourself that someday i will check out that food.
    What is your favorite restaurant?
I am so happy they just put in a P.F. Changs where I live. This is one of my favorite resaurants along with Olive Garden and Souplantation. What is your favorite restaurant?
    do you like italian cuisine?
If you like, what is your favorite italian dish?
Have you ever eaten at Olive Garden?
Have you ever eaten at Olive Garden? My husband wanted to go to this restaurant for the anniversary of when we began dating so I agreed to go because I thought he said there is a buffet. There wasent and being a vegetarian I found it very hard to find something to eat there. They let you order food off the childrens menu and dont charge you any extra the food is just in smaller portions. I loved the restaurant it was clean and beautiful but the food was terrible. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it was that instant junk from a box. The fettichini (I know its spelled wrong I cant think how its spelled for some reason)was boiled to long and not stirred enough because the noodles were dried out clumped together. The only good thing about the food was we got unlimited breadsticks with the meal. I wound up eating a bunch of those because I hated the food that I received. Then when we got the bill we noticed that the dip for the breadsticks wasent free it was $1.50 for each one which is dumb. I guess thats another way they get you. Who wants to eat breadsticks plan I always want something to dip them in so of course if they are going to offer something free they know they will get...
    Red Lobster vs. Olive Garden
My husband has worked at both and I love food from both places. At the present time he works at Red Lobster. And I'm the hugest fan of shrimp. So I get to eat shrimp whenever I want. But my question to you is what one do you like better. Red Lobster or Olive Garden.
