| | Strange mail. | | I received a $10 gift card in the mail today. The envelope was hand written in red ink with no return address. I opened it and it was wrapped in a blank piece of paper. The postage says it was mailed from zip code 55426. My husband checked and the zip code is Minnesota. It was mailed on Dec. 14, 2009. I, for the life of me, can't think of anyone that I know that lives in Minnesota. | New Websites that I am trying out to get easy money and win prizes | | I am trying out two websites that I found in a forum I visit daily. The first one is called Likaholix. It was started in early 2009 by ex-Googlers. The websites main goal is to get people to put on the website what they prefer like what movies they like, books, products, tv shows, etc. The great thing about the website is that every referral you get to the website earns you $3. But to get that $3 your referral must link their likaholix account to their Facebook account. That is the weird part about it. But seems like a cool website like Mylot.
Another website that I am trying out is Prize Rebel. Its a website where you get points for doing free offers and such. then you turn those points into prizes. I think you can get $10 gift card to many places for only ten points. And a lot of the offers give you good points so it won't be hard to earn prizes.
Both these websites are legit as of now because there are many testimonials about these two websites in the forum where I found these from. I believe you have to invited to these websites to join but im not sure. | |

I do the majority of my shopping at Walmart, so it just makes sense.However the Walmart gift cards cost more points than most of the other $10 ones. I can get a Walgreens gift card for 50 points less. I can get an Olive Garden card for 150 points less. | 7 cents | | I had to pick up a few things at the store today, dish soap and milk. I had a $10 gift card I used. After the dish soap and milk I figured I still had $3 left over, and I was a little hungry. So I went up to the deli and bought some of their hot chicken. I got a cup of popcorn chicken for my 2 boys to split, and got myself some general tso's flavored chicken. It's really good.So I get to the check out, and my total comes to $10.07. I'd just switched purses, so I had no change what so ever. I don't carry cash as all our money is direct deposited. So now I look like a total fool.
